The first week of school is always so exciting!
Everyone is so excited to see each other, students are comparing their schedules and teachers are excited to start the fresh new year off!
If you are like me, during the first week of school I always like to do fun and creative activities to get to know the students and for the students to get to know each other. Also, during the first week of school, I tend to stay away from teaching the curriculum until around the second week of school. (That way if students schedules change or I get a new student that first week, everyone starts off on the same page the following week.)
